When your buyers purchase a home with financing through Weststar Mortgage and StarGuard Protection, we will provide them with the following services:

Financial Protection – No new homeowner should be without this! It provides emergency grants for assistance during various types of unforeseen financial difficulty. It provides a safety net for homeowners should they experience a short-term financial challenge.

Examples of items that may be covered are:

• Involuntary Loss of Employment
• Unexpected medical expenses
• Unusually high car repair bills
• Catastrophic events
• Other major financial events

Communication and Education – Buyers will receive monthly communication from the Rainy Day Foundation which provides you with financial tips and resources focused on helping homeowners save money and plan for future events.

Buyers can be eligible for a grant from Rainy Day that provides the following:

• Receive up to six months of grant assistance in the event of involuntary job loss, for a maximum of $1800 per month.
• Receive up to two months of grant assistance for an unexpected financial crisis.
• Access to financial and budget counseling services anytime during the first two-years of homeownership.
• Twenty-four months of financial tips, education and resources through the HELP Program eNewsletter.
